ICE Technologies is looking to add a Systems Engineer II to our Carroll-based team. You would be able to work more than 75% of your time remotely from your home office in Des Moines, and less than 25% of the time assisting clients on-site or near to our office in Carroll, IA. A Systems Engineer II on our team is responsible for performing daily operations related to network, server and desktop administration. You would be assisting with wide variety of computer configuration and support.
Responsibilities:
Performs duties as outlined in ongoing services agreements
Builds, researches, analyzes, configures, troubleshoots and maintains client systems, networks and related devices
Participates in On-Call Support rotation
Maintains documentation related to services provided

Experience:
Technical certifications such as Server+, CCNA, Network+, MCP or MCSA preferred
Three or more years of information technology experience required
Architectural and technical skills in OS, Server and Networking
A clear understanding of attributes of a successful IT environment
Previous experience in working with healthcare clients is an advantage
Experience with any of the following technologies is an advantage:
Microsoft Active Directory, SQL Server
Switching and routing – Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti
Firewalls – Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Sonicwall, Fortinet
Wireless – Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti
Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems
MS Exchange / Office 365 experience
Datacenter virtualization – VMware vSphere & NSX-T, Microsoft Hyper-V
Storage area networks – HPE Nimble, EMC UnityBackup and disaster recovery – Veeam, Datto, Acronis
Virtual desktop infrastructure – VMware Horizon, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
