June 1, 2021: Carroll-based IT service company Computer Concepts of Iowa (CCI) will formally adopt ICE Technologies’ name and operational disciplines on August 1, 2021.
Nearly a year and a half ago, ICE and CCI joined forces to provide their clients and communities with an even better IT experience. By coming together, both companies gained technical depth and operational strength — all while improving security disciplines.
Computer Concepts of Iowa has been providing full-service IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in the Greater-Carroll geography since 2005. Former CEO Adam Schweers has since become the Business Development Manager and is focusing on helping ICE optimize its solutions for small and medium businesses.
“ICE Technologies shares the same values and commitment to excellence that CCI has upheld for the past 15 years,” says Schweers. “I’m excited to continue to help Western-Iowa businesses get the best IT service and support available.”
ICE Technologies was founded in 1990 in Pella, IA, and brings with them a rich history in information technology sales and service. With a background in healthcare IT, ICE believes their experience working in one of the most highly-regulated industries gives them the knowledge and disciplines to provide unmatched IT service, making certain that client systems are contributing to their business and are run reliably and securely.
“The name is changing but we are still very much committed to the Greater-Carroll community,” noted ICE CEO Keith Van Donselaar. “The office location will remain and we will continue to provide the best IT service to all of Western-Iowa.”
Existing clients of CCI may notice a few minor operational changes to invoicing and support. ICE Technologies will provide these clients with consistent communication with how these changes will be implemented in the coming weeks.
