The benefits of ICE's Healthcare Hosting model fall into two broad categories: First, ICE assumes responsibility for purchasing the data center hardware and in many cases is able to pass along economies of scale unavailable to facilities buying their own equipment; second, resources required to subsequently manage the solution are outsourced, so you have no need to invest in expensive in-house support and IT management resources.
- The only upfront costs incurred by the healthcare organization are for HIS software, implementation and training, and any site equipment required such as PCs and printers.
- A monthly fee covers the cost of the hardware, proactive monitoring and management, support and upgrades, hosting of the software and data from ICE's secure data center, management of the computing infrastructure including networking and servers, operating system and the HIS application, backups, upgrades, and help desk access.
- Ownership of the data remains with the customer, although it is held securely on their behalf in the ICE data center. If for any reason the contract is terminated, the data will be delivered to the customer in a standard format.
Service Level Agreement Features
