Are you an Application Analyst with a passion to make Healthcare IT better? Then, read on, because we hope this opening is a fit for you. As a Senior Application Analyst, you will be responsible for participating and leading a team in planning, building, maintaining, testing, and implementation of various healthcare information systems (HCIS). This includes HCIS in hospital, ambulatory, long term care, rehabilitation, and document management settings.

You’ll work with a team of other skilled and passionate Clinical and Financial Analysts who all work towards the same vision of enabling healthcare providers to improve lives through practical IT solutions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in specific HCIS; stays up to date on implementation and release notes/manuals of HCIS
  • Acts as coach, mentor and trainer of peers regarding HCIS functionality and associated work processes
  • Assesses the usefulness of pre-developed HCIS application package functionality to be able to guide clients appropriately
  • Consults with client leadership to ensure agreement on application requirements and expected outcomes
  • Assesses current and future client workflows and develops supporting documentations in Visio
  • Plans and participates in the build, maintenance and monitoring of applications and interfaces
  • Develops and delivers super user training materials/training
  • Develop and maintain unit testing scenarios that can be given to clients to aid their understanding of the HCIS and can be used as peer training tools
