Meet The ICE Leadership Team
Your Healthcare IT Partners
Keith Van Donselaar
"Over the years, I’ve seen IT services companies measure success in terms of ‘billable hours.’ From the beginning, we set out to be a company that measures success by the results our clients receive. One of our core beliefs is that in order for an IT services company to be credible and effective, they must know the client’s industry and business. This is why ICE is entirely, 100% focused on serving the IT needs of small to mid-size rural, community and critical access hospitals, clinics, and ASCs. There have been a lot of newcomers to the healthcare IT space in the last few years, but ICE has been here serving this industry since 1990. Our knowledge can’t be acquired overnight."
Keith has almost 3 decades of experience in the information technology and healthcare industries.
Prior to joining ICE, Keith held sales, management and leadership positions with Cadalyst Resources, Pioneer-Standard Electronics and Maryville Technologies.
Throughout his career, Keith has delivered professional IT products and services spanning hardware, software, networks, information systems management, consulting and implementation.
Since joining ICE in 2002, Keith has led the company into new markets and services including applications services, managed services, IT outsourcing and data center services. Since 2003, ICE has grown at a combined annual growth rate of over 20% and has been named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States.

"The combination of healthcare and IT is nothing but potential. I am completely convinced that success lies in balancing the right disciplines: People, Process and Technology. This is why healthcare IT is such a good fit for me. I love organizing teams toward a common goal and helping people create a more positive future. Most importantly, I love doing that in towns where people know each other. That’s why after 20 years doing this, I still have no problem getting in my pickup at 4 a.m. to drive out to a remote Nebraska town to talk to a group of people about how we make IT work better. It’s a passion for me."
Phil Stravers has been in consulting and management roles within the information technology industry for over 25 years and has spent more than 20 years helping small to mid-size healthcare providers “make IT work better”. Phil has had the opportunity to act as an Interim CIO for numerous healthcare organizations which gives him a unique perspective on their challenges and associated solutions. Phil really enjoys sharing lessons learned and frequently presents at various hospital associations, HIMSS events and healthcare board rooms all over the country.
In addition to his passion for improving Health IT, he loves baseball (die hard Cubs fan) and has spent more than 15 years coaching young baseball players. Phil lives in Pella, IA and often shares concepts learned from his background in coaching along with the Dutch farm culture and work ethic that his home town is known for.
Phil routinely presents and educates through various healthcare associations, such as the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and National Rural Health Association (NRHA).

Director, Client Services
"Throughout my IT career, I’ve taken pride in the fact that what I do positively impacts families. It’s clear to me that the clinical decision support, computer-aided diagnosis and patient safety features inherent in today’s HCISs enhance care delivery in a meaningful way. I also enjoy the business side of IT. Our engagements and services deliver great value to our clients, while also allowing ICE to grow and deliver even more value."
